Chris Weitz to direct New Moon

It was released today on Stephenie's Website that Chris Weitz will direct the movie adaptation of New Moon. Chris Weitz is well know for directing American Pie, About a Boy, and The Golden Compass.

Well The Golden Compass wasn't a comedy. He might do ok. It still should have been Tim though.

Idk if that's a good thing or not, but I do hope he could direct better than Cath.

Ehhh, I'm still undecided.

It was an unexpected choice of director to sat the least.

Well, I think The Golden Compass was directed okay..and thats a book though..

I don't really know him, I thought the Golden Compass was okay, but i haven't read the book soo..... we;ll just have to wait and see i guess......
I hope he doesn't screw anything up!

i really hope he puts in everylittle bit of emotion and makes it so perfect and i would love to cry when i watch it ..so he better do a good job

eeeeeeerrmm not at all a fan of American Pie really thought it was a god awful film and well i liked the Golden Compass so maybe he'll surprise me. I'd love to see someone like Tim Burton direct it. he just has a way with his directing that always captures the gloomyness with out it being depressing more enchanting..
