Thanks to Vampire_Pie for informing us that Catherine Hardwicke will not be able to direct New Moon, said to be released by the end of 2009, because of time constraints, she wouldn't be able to complete the film on schedule.

What do you all think? Should Summit have let Catherine go? Will the movie be better or worse because of it?

I can't really say if it'll be better or not.Once the filming goes under way and they have the trailer for it then I'll be able to judge if it will be better or not Smile.

I don't know if I like it, look at the Harry Potter movie almost all of them have diffrent dicrectors and they all do it a diffrent, I think they should just stick to one directore for all the movies! But I'll just have to wait and see till the first trailer comes out!

I think they should stick to one director. I mean,if all the movies had different directors,then all the movies would be different. They all have different tasts in what should happen.

if im honest im not fussed who directs it as long as they dont change the whole story so that rob gets more screen time. not that i have anything against rob on screen but they change films enough from the books as it is.

I have no idea if this is true or not but the new Director might cut Taylor for being to "baby faced" for Jacob.Isn't Jacob about 16,17?He is supposed to look like that!
