Forums Closed July 14th through August 3rd

If you've been on the Lexicon lately, you may have noticed that Stephenie posted a message saying that she wants all Twilight forums closed July 14th to prevent Breaking Dawn spoilers. We want to respect Stephenie's wishes, so we will be closing the forums. We will continue to post news and of course, pming will still be open to everyone. There will be a Breaking Dawn release party soon after the site's opening, the dates will be decided soon. More details will be given soon. Please refrain from using banners and avatars that contain spoilers from Breaking Dawn until September 2nd so people will have a chance to purchase and read their book.

Thank you all for being patient and we'll make sure we open on time for you guys on August 3rd.

OME! Does the release party have to be on the 3rd? Because, over here, in the UK and Ireland (I suppose the rest of Europe too), we don't actually get the book until the 4th.

Oh and where can i get info on the times and locations of the twilight release parties i plan to be going to one that night! holla!!!

But i dont get it what do u mean she wants to prevent spoilers what spoiler could come out without the book. Do some people get it before us? I mean the us.

Well, often people manage to get their hands on an copy before they should, and then info leaks out onto the internet^^

I'm going to think up a date for the release party that works for everyone, for now, I changed the post. I probably won't have my book done for a while because I have a lot of stuff distracting me right now.

As for your question, people usually get their book by inside connections to bookstores. Other than that, I have no clue how they get it.

No TTF thats really a bummer for us all...
I am starting to understand, because i went to B.N. and they told me they get it like the day before it comes out. Yes, it has to be out by the time the store opens remember but also with a right amount of money people can get there hands on anything even books that arent suppose to come out for months. Just like cars!

You all really lucky, I have to make sure that at least one bookstore will have the book. Here in Argentina it's doesn't come in Spanish until October, so I have to get in English (something that doesn't bother me, of course) I'm not going to wait until October to know how the story ends () Right now I have asked to all the bookstores of my city and soon I will have to travel to another city (that is bigger than my) where I'm sure I will be able of getting it. I don't even mind how much it willl cost, I just want the book.
